Not making it, I bought some.
Never have had it, looking for some good eats with it!
Thanks!

I must buy some gnocchi to try.
I really like the idea of butter and sage. Cooksie made hers that way and it looked incredible! http://www.netcookingtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13940&highlight=gnocchi
Also, Bam posted an interesting-looking dish, here: http://www.netcookingtalk.com/forums/showpost.php?p=33554&postcount=1
And Vera's Butternut Squash gnocchi sounds right up my alley, too (I missed this, first time around!): http://www.netcookingtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11021&highlight=gnocchi
Yep, I REALLY have to get some gnocchi!
Let us know what you end up with, Kim!

I went with this recipe:
http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/...chi-with-wild-mushroom-ragu-recipe/index.html
Gnocchi and wild mushroom ragu. The sauce was fantastic! I used
button and cremini mushrooms, along with a little package of dried
wild mushrooms. (Which I soaked in the wine for the sauce, very good.)
I highly recommend the sauce.
As for the potato gnocchi, my wife and I both agreed that we aren't
particularly fond of the texture. Kinda gooey mushy.
Since I got a 3 pack from Costco, the gnocchi experiment shall continue!
I am going to try a recipe that browns them in butter with some herbs,
and see how that goes.
