This recipe was given to me a while back by kitchenelf. I do not believe there is any copyright on it, so I'm just going to post it up. It's a good recipe and the second time I made it I went a little heavier on the seasonings.
1c flour
1/2tsp salt
1TBS shortening (I used butter)
thyme
poultry seasoning
6TBS hot tap water
Mix dry ingredients.
Add shortening or butter and mix.
Add enough water to make a dough that isn't sticky.
Wrap in plastic wrap and let sit for 15 minutes.
Put dough on a floured surface and roll thin, sprinkling on more flour as needed.
Cut into squares (I used a pizza cutter).
Drop into boiling soup or broth while stirring and cook until done, about 10 minutes.
