Deadly Sushi

2 slices of diced bacon
1 onion chopped
0.5 cup of chopped celery (optional)
1 tsp of flour
1 potato diced (i like to leave the skin on)
1 cup of water
0.25 tsp of dill (fresh would be nice)
1 pound of halibut (or other white fish)
1 can of corn, NOT drained (14 oz)
1 can of half N half cream
1 cup of milk
1 pat of butter (up to you really)
chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook bacon till crisp in soup pot.... then take the bacon out (not the grease)
Saute onion, celery in the bacon fat till sweating then wisk in DE flour.
Add water, potatoes, pepper and dill... bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 10 minutes so potato becomes tender.

Add the FEEEESH (fish) and cover and simmer for another 10 minutes. After that... add the corn, crisp bacon, cream, milk and heat very gradually. DONT BOIL IT!!! Mix often. Once its well heated, take it off the heat and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.

Now you can add sea or kosher salt to taste. :thumb:
