Default Ghee question

In my search to eat better, I am trying out Ghee instead of butter to fry my eggs. Cast iron griddle, lower temp, using Ghee the eggs stick to the pan like mad. Butter, no issues. Any ideas?

Got this pan for the wife a couple months ago. She liked it so well she asked for a 2nd. Best non stick pan we've seen.
Maybe that would help.

making the ghee also drives out residual water . . .
water is what does the 'butter foam' bit. not sure how that would affect eggs tho.

have you tried something like safflower oil? safflower is very taste neutral - I wonder if that would be unsticky?

I always cook eggs in a non-stick pan.

In my experience, eggs always stick to the pan no matter what oil you use. Non-stick pan is the best solution
