ROASTED CAULIFLOWER WITH BACON SALT

Ingredients
1 head cauliflower (about 2 pounds), cut into bite-size florets (about 8 cups)
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
5 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
2 teaspoons Bacon Salt
2 teaspoons roughly chopped fresh thyme leaves
Directions
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
Toss the cauliflower with the olive oil, garlic, and red pepper on a baking sheet; sprinkle with the Bacon Salt and thyme and toss again. Roast until golden and tender, about 20 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve.

Good looking stuff!
I always just used bacon fat, nutmeg and garlic on mine.
I like the idea of the red peppers and thyme!

It's also good if you give it a char on your grill, cut it up, mix in the seasonings
and finish in a foil bag on the grill or in the oven.

Buzz this is evil. I love it.

I am into aromatics lately. How about some basil and rosemare? Run the spices and EVOO in the chopper a not to infuse the oil.

Always looking for new ways to fix cauliflower.

I don't have bacon salt so I'll just cook up a couple of slice of bacon till crisp and crumble it.

I made this tonight - sort of.

I do not have bacon salt. I dis everything else. I added basil, generous pinch and rosemary, generous pinch. I pot all the ingredients in a mini blender to mix.

25 min did not cook the cauliflower. too much salt. I will make it again. All tolled, I loved it. DW only criticized once (She's mikey, she don't like nuthin that is a wim)
