Default What have you eaten Sunday 10/13/2019 to Saturday 10/19/2019?

I ate the leftover roast for breakfast as is cold. It was fantastic. All protein no carbs is healthy.

I made a sort of a deconstructed stuffed baggage/sauerkraut soup last night for today. It came out a bit spicy because of the Hungarian Hot Paprika I used

Tina made a crockpot of beef barley soup and with baby pasta shells.

It was awesome. I'm gonna make meatballs in tomato sauce in the crockpot later. Cooking overnight on low, will surely smell good....

I've always loved airline food and found that Lufthansa and KLM/Royal Dutch always had the best.

Yesterday was turkey, sweet potato and peas for the noon meal.
Dinner: I ran out to Subway.

I'm making rib eye or flounder for dinner tonight.

Just a question Sass..... "Do you just eat the sandwich dry like that?"
I would have lots of mayonnaise on mine. Or cole slaw.

Look real close Jimmy.
There was mayo and bread and butter pickles on it, just under the bun.
I never eat a sandwich plain.

Ooooo! That sounds good! I love Bread and Butter Pickles.
All our pickles we order from a hungarian place in Ohio called Tony Packo's in Toledo. Love the Sweet Hot ones..... Great to eat on the side with egg salad or sliced egg sandwiches....

Breakfast for dinner. Corky's potato latkes, sausage patties and fried eggs. Applesauce and sour cream to go with the latkes. Everything is kind of brown, but it was good.

BUT is that cheese from a can? LOL Just kidding. My DD likes green can cheese or the Trader Joe version. I like fresh grated but sometimes the can is easy if available (when the arthritis is acting up).

Food shopping day.

I had rotisserie pork loin (the seasoning was wonderful) and New England clam chowder for brunch.

Dinner will probably be loaded pizza but there are several other choices available.

My DD likes the ShopRite Mixed. That's like mozzarella and provolone.
The green tube Parmesan she uses when in a hurry.

Growing Up..... Mom would put out the hunk of cheese on a clean towel, in the center of the table; with the cheese grater on top.

Now comes the best meal for me later. The good ole Meatloaf sandwich with brown mustard on rye bread.
