FRIED OKRA and TOMATOES
2 lb. frozen okra
1 lg. can crushed tomatoes
1 lg. green pepper, sliced, seeds removed
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 (15 oz)can whole kernel corn
1/2 stick margarine
Salt
Pepper
1 tsp. sugar
Cut up okra.
Heat margarine in a deep skillet. simmer Okra about 5-8 minutes.Add green peppers and onions. Add to okra and cook until peppers are soft and onions are
brown. Add can of tomatoes with the juice. Add salt and pepper to taste. Drain corn and add to skillet.
add sugar, stir and let simmer. Serve over rice, if so desired.2 lb. frozen okra
