Creamy Mushroom Gravy

2 c sliced mushrooms
3 T butter
2 T flour
2 c whole milk
salt and pepper
1 t minced parsley


Saute the mushrooms in the butter.
When browned, blend in the flour stirring well.
Gradually add the milk, then stir until smooth.
Add salt and pepper to taste, then parsley.

Good over buttered toast points, meats or mashed potatoes.
