Black and White Pie
8 ounces miniature marshmallows
1 cup milk
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup whipped cream
2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, grated
1 graham cracker crust
1/2 cup ground nuts
Using a double boiler, combine marshmallows and milk. Heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted and blended with the milk. Set aside and allow to cool.
When cool, add vanilla extract and salt. Fold in the whipped cream and chocolate, reserving 1 tablespoon of chocolate. Pour evenly into graham cracker crust. Sprinkle with nuts and remaining chocolate. Sit in the refrigerator to allow to set.
