I do cure and smoke my own bacon but am needing to cure more soon. We are getting low.
Will be checking prices for pork belly in a few days. Most of the time I buy from our Mexican store. With all the restaurants pushing pork belly gourmet food the price will be high I am sure. I think the last I bought was $2. something pound, skin on frozen 4 belly's to a box. I like my homemade bacon much better than store bought. CF
