Spicy FUNnel Cakes

2 c funnel cake mix
1 1/2 c water
1 t garlic powder
1 t onion powder
2 t cayenne pepper
2 t cheese popcorn seasoning
salt

oil (deep enough for frying)

Combine mix and water and seasonings in a bowl, then pour into a large ziplock bag.
Heat oil to medium-high in large skillet.
Snip a corner of the bag, then squeeze the mixture into piped rounds and fry 30 seconds per side.
Drain well on paper towels.

Can be dipped in a spiced up sour cream dip using 1 c sour cream and some hot sauce to your taste.

Ooooh-I like the idea of a spicy funnel cake! Feels a little "naughty".....

I'm not much on the funnel cakes with all the powdered sugar, but that really sounds good to me.
