Here's a neat trick for cutting corn..........
Shuck and clean the corn, then find your angel food / bundt pan
Place the ear vertically, narrow end down, into the hole in the middle. using a sharp knife with downward strokes, cut the kernels free from the ear, rotating the ear as you go. Then, if depending on the recipe, use the back of the knife to get any pulp, again rotating slightly after each stroke.
Everything falls into the well of the pan, where it's easilly collected.
