This my old standby for beef and lamb, especially tips and kebobs. Simple, you probably always have the ingredients on hand, and smells so good you want to drink it with a straw!

From a thin paperback booklet, called, "The Barbecue & Smoker Cookbook, from the Kitchens of Southern Living"

Magnificent Marinade

1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup Worcestershire
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 T. dry mustard
1 T. coarsely ground pepper
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley

I do something similar but put in a half cup whiskey instead of vinegar. I got it from one of my first wild game cookbooks and is great with venison steaks done on the grill.
