What is the proper temp for the refridge??? Im reading 45F right now.

Too warm.... I think the warmest is supposed to be 40 or 42

It should be between 38 and 40.

My fridge is set at 37. Freezer is 0. I see those little numbers every time that I open the door.

I keep a digital thermometer in mine and look at it every time I open the door. It's reading 38.2 right now. Overnight (no door openings), it gets down to 34.0. If it gets above 42, then it's time to worry (unless you have had the door open for a long period of time).

WELLLLLL!!!!! I called maintainence and guess what!? The blower fan in the fridge was out! They replaced it and now the thing is ICE cold!!!!!

I cant even imagine how much electricity was wasted on it trying to keep er cold.

I left my fridge door open all day on Monday, and did some research on temps. The gist of it was that fridge temperatures should be less than 40 degrees.

Spec use to be 42f, then spec was revised downward to 40.

I believe now most refrigerators are set to 37 at the factory.
