Creamed Onion Gravy

1/4 c butter
1 large onion sliced thin
5 T AP flour
2 t salt
1 T worcestershire sauce
2 c milk

In saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
Add the onion and cook, covered- until soft.
Remove lid, and continue to cook until liquid evaporates and onion caramelizes.
Whisk in the flour stirring constantly until light brown in colour.
Add the milk slowly, stirring constantly until smooth.
Season with salt and worcestershire.
Simmer til thick.

That will be really good on fried chicken Sass. I'd probably pound them out fairly thin before breading and frying.
