We have had some heavy rains recently and started noticing these strange little bugs that were migrating from the lawn onto the patio. The ones that were still alive would hop across the concrete heading away from the grass, and there was an unbelievable amount of dead ones at the back of the patio. Come to find out (thanks to google), they are lawn shrimp. They look just like tiny little shrimp. Never heard of them before, soooooo strange. May you never have lawn shrimp. 
. I was glad to see they were just lawn shrimp......still pretty nasty.
