5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well..
Add the vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug.
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.

We make this all the time.........First time it came out terrible; hard and dry.........then I realized that the recipe called for a 1000 watt microwave oven and I'd done it on high, which in my unit is 1200 watts........ after making that adjustment, it was great.

I've read this a few places, even my doggie list, and keep forgetting to print it out. This is getting printed out as soon as I'm done here. I'm pretty sure I even have all the ingredients!

Make it.. it's an instant fix when you have the urge for quick chocolate delights:smile:
