free range forest chicken eggs

found these at a local crafts festival.

I think you have to soak them before you can get a decent soft boiled egg, tho....

I'm guessing only the striped variety of free range forest wooden chickens lay those striped eggs...only makes sense. I could be wrong though...:yum:

Striped chickens... forest wooden chickens... zebra chickens... I really need to study more about animals and birds in your area. Are zebra chickens possibly relative of those chickens whose lay the easter eggs?

yes, $10 each. which I suspect is why all the eggs are still in one basket.....

another possibility came to me about the striped eggs - it could depend on the grain they were fed . . .
