I didn't make the chicken as planned.
My best friend Julie and I stopped at KFC on the way home from the after Christmas sales.

Chicken and waffles!
Yum

this is Mediterranean Chickpea Salad from delish.com
side of split green pea soup....

very nice flavor comb - chickpea, red onion, green pepper, kalamata olive, cucumber, feta cheese, s&p
dressing is a simple: EVOO+white wine vinegar+lemon juice+parsley.
thrashed it with the stick blender....
add red pepper flakes if you like it hot.
not all the dice&toss stuff turns out this good.

Been sick for the last 3 days, but today is the first time that the thought of food has appealed.

Medtran's carpaccio and Chowder's chick pea salad look wonderful!

LT's mussel and pasta dish is impressive!
