I made Vegetable Beef Soup last night for dinner
(to use up leftovers) and had a bowl for breakfast
also.

Leftover eye round roast, leftover burgundy pan gravy,
fresh mushrooms, 2 oz. each dry - split peas, lentils, navy beans,
tiny pasta shells, frozen mixed vegetables (I like the kind with baby lima beans in the mix), beef broth.

Looks Good. Love the baby shells in the soup. Something to chew, and they're light.

I just got my dinner at work.
This is rotini turkey alfredo and a "lettuce mix salad" with Ken's Caesar dressing.
Not bad really.

left overs....

used some 'beefy onion' soup mix as a base
added barley, cooked slow - 3 hours

added small diced left over slices of beef tenderloin.
the meat was fantastic - I made a sandwich yesterday and the thin sliced tenderloin melted off the roll.

the soup divine.
disclaimer: I am very fond of barley.

We had leftovers today.
I had fried in butter, macaroni and cheese. Oh so crunchy on the edges, and browned from the frying in the butter.

I was going to make medtran's recipe for the gochujang roast chicken, but could not find the paste at the stores!

So, I'm making teriyaki honey baked chicken breasts, with sunburst mini potatoes and something green.

DD wants raviolis tonight.

I'd vote for the ravioli too....

Sorrowfully, we usually made home made ones, and plenty for the holidays.
Not lately. Sickness sees no holiday's! I remember Momma. She said, "Wait kids, you will see when you get older like mom!"...... She was right!

We used to love Celentano, and as a matter of fact, Tina used to drive to their place at that time, to Springfield, NJ to purchase them. They were filled nice and full, and they were not as doughy as they are today.
We now get them at the ravioli kitchen around the Crossings at the trade zone.
