BLT salad with Avocado dressing

Avocado Dressing

1 Small ripe peeled avocado
1/4 Cup low fat buttermilk
2 Tablespoon Greek yogurt
2 Tablespoon salsa
2 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 Teaspoon salt
1/4 Teaspoon black pepper

Preparation
Step 1:
Place avocado, buttermilk, yogurt, salsa, and lemon juice, in a blender or food processor and process until smooth.
Step 2:
Pour into a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and stir.
Step 3:
Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.

Salad

Romaine lettuce
Cooked, sliced chicken
chopped tomatoes
cooked, crumbled bacon

Good idea. Sliced avocado would go great in this salad.

I'm having a very green winter, food wise. I've been making salad meals that usually contain a protein. I may fill up your salad section here because I'm busy experimenting.

Please do!! We love salad. I'd like some Asian influenced salads and dressings.
