I had scrambled eggs, sliced vine tomatoes and buttermilk biscuits for dinner last night.

Not sure what dinner tonight will be but it is soup weather.

I did the Scallops in a non-stick skillet for the first time... will stick to the Cast Iron.... not happy with the sear.........

Pan Seared Scallops on a bed of Teriyaki Sauce, Black Beans & Rics, Buttered Carrots & Pearls... and the Salad, of course...

Bacon (using craig's home cured bacon) and asparagus quiche with a purchased fresh fruit salad as the side. Cheeses were imported Swiss and Fontina.

Pugs got pastry dough scraps brushed with bacon grease as treats.

I've been working on yeasted puff pastry dough for the last 3 days.

The top right are 3 of the pigs in blankets I made. The largest 1 is before I realized I needed to roll the dough thinner. There was our homemade mustard and a slice of colby cheese, besides the all beef hot dog inside. Side was coleslaw.

Top left pain au chocolate logs, 4. The bottom is, obviously, small croissaints.
