I package puff pastry sheets
kebab meat slices
tomatoes
oregano, basil
mozzarella cheese

Place the thawed puff pastry sheets on a baking tray. Spread over the kebab meat and tomato slices. Season with herbs (I used oregano and basil). Put on plenty of grated cheese. Bake in oven at 200 C for 20 minutes.

Nice with a cup of tea.

I love the looks of this pie!

A couple of questions: What are kebob meat slices? Pre-cooked some sort of meat that will heat up in 20 minutes? What kind of meat?

Are the tan sides of the pie in the photo the puff pastry?

I would like to make this!

We have here pre-cooked meat slices what we call as kebab meat, mainly beef. It´s quite spicy, ready to be heated or eated with cold foods, like pita breads, pizzas, sandwiches etc. They look like:

To kind of tomato pie you can of course use what any kind of fillings you have. I think that blue cheese, olives and grilled chicken might be great one too. I need to try them at the next time.

I made kind of tomato pie as I have so much own tomatoes right now (they have turned red perfectly indoors  and I don´t need to buy any for weeks).

The picture shows quite a bit of puff pastry on the sides and corners.
