I was a silly boy some time ago and rudely offended Doc, i publicly say sorry for that.

Well i am back and need to be inspired in the kitchen, i look forward to reading the creative ideas from you good folk here.

For me what works is cooking down the steak and kidney in a slow cooked stew fashion...brisket works best for me on this...the longer the better with plenty of pepper,and a can of good old strong Ale in the pot...4 hours min and cooled for another 12 hours min...any extra juice best saved for gravy.

The rest is all in the pastry.

That sounds absolutely delish, especially the ale part. I use beer in my corned beef and cabbage and out adds a lot.
