Easy Baked Corn

2 cans cream style corn
1/2 c sugar
16 saltine crackers, roughly crushed
4 eggs
1/3 c milk
black pepper to taste
butter

Mix together the milk and eggs. Mix together the corn, sugar, crackers, and pepper. Combine the two mixtures. Pour into a greased baking dish and dot the top with pats of butter. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes.

Variation - Sub one can of cream style corn with a can of kernel corn

I like it better with a kernel and a cream, but my mother used all cream corn.

That corn casserole was on the table for every holiday.....Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving......you name it :lol:.
