I’m staying at a Super 8 Motel and the breakfast was basic.
I had a toasted bagel with peanut butter and jelly. It did the
job. Later I will go downtown and check out the bakery.
it is rated as one of the top bakeries in Iowa.

Nancy and I went to Wasatch Bagel for a late breakfast.
She ordered a ham and cheese omelette with a side of
hash browns. I got my usual onion bagel, with egg, bacon,
and pepper Jack cheese. It was all good except the bagels
had no taste. The onions on mine were flavorless as was
her everything bagel. 4 stars

We had what I call Leftover hash. I had half a bag of hash browns from the freezer. I mixed those with a piece of leftover ham that I diced, leftover half an onion that I diced and scrambled in some eggs, all seasoned with creole seasoning.

After I was done with burgers last night I threw a can of Tocino Spam on the grill and forgot about it.
This morning I toasted a slice of sourdough bread, buttered, and made a sandwich and it was quite good.

I used the last of my pork tenderloin to make a "sausage" pepper gravy. I didn't bring flour or other stuff to make biscuits but I had pancake mix, so I used that. I served over easy eggs on top. Turned out good!

I dont know why I didn't remember to photograph it plated, but I remembered when putting it away, lol.

I have found that this condo has pretty awful knives. They are ok for chopping/cutting lettuce, fish, and softer foods, but I tried to cut potatoes for hash last week snd it was impossible. So I found that if I wash and nuke the potatoes for 3-4 minutes then rinse in cold water, the skins slide right off and I just can chop the potatoes in the pan with the vinyl spatula. Plus some of the moisture content is out so it makes for crispier potatoes. Making breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions.
