This Morning's 'Left-Over' Breakfast...


Steak & Eggs..

Breakfast was rarely my responsibility, and when it was, I'd take us to the Diner, lol....
That said, I learned today that you do NOT reheat Steak in the Microwave....
I thought it would fare better in there for 45 seconds than it would in a fry pan..... WRONG !


This is what went into the machine, and you see what came out on the plate above...

LT - hopefully your m/w has a power setting - try 2 of out 10 for reheating 'tender' stuff - like steak slices, sausage patties...


I do bursts of 2 mins on power level 2 (out of 10) - with 10-30 seconds between bursts to let the target soak up and distribute the heat....


it is easy to make jerky on high, been there, done that, threw the apron away . . . (g)

I have never used anything but "Start" and "Defrost" ......
I figured my mistake was slicing it BEFORE it went in...

A lesson learned today...
