This is a great crunchy, salty, satisfying low-cal, high protein and fiber snack.
Pre-heat oven to 350
Drain and rinse 1, 15 oz can of chickpeas
1 Tbsp EVOO
2 tsp of sea salt or I subbed Pico Limon (heat + lime + salt)
<Also trialing 1 Tbsp EVOO + 1 Tbsp tamari>
Toss and place on a jelly roll sheet. Place on middle rack of oven giving the pan a shake. When the pan is shaken and it sounds like lumpy marbles rolling around, the peas are toasted about 40 -45 minutes.
