A southern experience:
Just south of Atlanta in Jackson, Ga. there's a mom and pop restaurant called "Buckners". The folks there are always really friendly, the food is served homestyle and it's as much as you want. I have to warn you though...unless you come with a group of people, you will find yourself at big round table with 6 or 8 other people that you don't know when you first sit down...but you will by the end of the meal. There is no menu to choose from, there's just a lazy-susan in the middle of the table and you just spin it around and get what you want. Waitresses fill it up as needed. If you like southern gospel and bluegrass music, you can enjoy it free on thursday, friday and saturday nights in the little red barn next door after you get done eating. They are closed on mondays and tuesdays and if you go, be prepared...there's always a line out the door.
