Felt good to get out and about, didn't it?
I think I'm saving my leftovers for work tomorrow.
Still thinking on tonight's dinner.

Yes it was nice to get out alone.

But everything went to crap last night (long story). So I had a bowl of mini wheats for dinner. No clue what's going on tonight.

Now I want a slice of meatloaf, fish sticks and tater tots.

Cajuncini, leftover jambalya cooked like arancini with muenster in the middle. Spke saucr of mayo, ketchup and horseradish. Cajun queso with chips. Trinity, garlic, cream cheese, half-n-half, muenster, cheddar.

The plan is stove top grilled flank steak, steamed baby spinach and Bob Evan's sour cream and chive mashed potatoes.

I love,love,LOVE their spinach and feta on super thin crust!
I had reward points so used them toward a free small, hand tossed pizza.
So I got one of those with Italian sausage and pineapple.
Yum!
Lunch lefties tomorrow.

I really like chicken marinated in Italian dressing, Lucky.
Medtran, your fricos (cheese crisps) rang a bell.
Then I remembered once our little chef, luvs made them once for a holiday meal.

They are very simple. A tablespoon to a tablespoon and a half on a silpat or parchment in a 375 oven until just starting to turn golden brown, cool for a couple of minutes and then slide off. I like them a little more brown, but Craig doesn't, says they taste burned. Accidentally dropped 1. The pugs LOVED it!

Marinated with the 'shrooms in Zesty Italian dressing 3 hours... Into the Air-Fryer for 25 minutes @ 360.... Might have been just a tad too long, but delicious !


Tonight's Crab Cakes Fried in Butter, Mac 'n Cheese (Kraft Singles), Stewed Tomatoes, Buttered Carrot...

Not my best presentation, but I was HUNGRY ! :kabob:

Craig made tacos with pork cubes in green chili braise. Condiments were salsa, pickled red onions, sour cream and cilantro leaves. Sides black beans and rice.

I really like this brand ham better than the Cooks brand.

It's already 88F. I think I will do corned beef in the Instant Pot to keep the house cool.
