ZIPPY ONION TOPPER FOR BURGERS
1 large Bermuda onion
6 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1/4 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce (or 2-or.......)
1/4 teaspoon salt
Peel the onion and slice it very thin. Separte into ringlets.
In a small skillet or omelet pan, soften the ringletsin half the oil. Drain.
Mix the remaining oil, vinegar, Tabasco
and salt in a bowl. Add the onion slices. Marinate at room temp
for 3 hours.
