this guy is good. there's not a "previously frozen" anything in the shop.
for freshness, you can personally check the eyeballs and the gills.....
I asked about steelhead - they're expecting a run - wild fresh never frozen in March. I'm thinking to buy a batch of whole fish (he scales/dresses/fillets) and putting some away in the freezer...
I hate freezing good fish, but steelhead takes a freeze decent and it's essentially impossible to get except in season.
scales? yeah - bought a whole black sea bass today - you halfta' decide....

you want the pects (pectoral fins) with that?
....
the stuff is expensive compared to supermarket chum; but it's uber good and way cheaper than running a boat.
