Now see, I had an aunt who used to swear by that.
I've tried it before and think all I got was perhaps smoother soles that smelled of menthol. :yum:

ever do ye olde high school experiment,,,, rub cut garlic on the soles of the feet and time how long it took for the subject to taste garlic . . .

wild guess . . . the menthol compounds play like garlic . . .

Another use: Place it under your nose when having to handle ripe carcasses. Reduces the smell and helps to prevent the retch factor.
