Fry Me Some Elk

There's a farmers' market about six blocks from my summer digs and this year a new vendor appeared after a three year wait for one of the fifty spots. They raise elk up in Merrill which is fifteen miles north and presently have a herd of forty.

I haven't had Elk since my last Wyoming hunting trip twenty something years ago so I couldn't wait to put it on my plate. According to my taste and memory, better than beef. I marinated the meat overnight and Fran fried it up....
