Sass, we have that same Correlle pattern except ours is gold instead of green. Maybe “Spring Blossom?” I don’t remember.

That was a rummage sale find, Jim.
My Grandmother had the gold trimmed Corelle too.
To replace the old set they'd used for years.
Grandpa said the man at the store demonstrated how the plates didn't break, and dropped several on the floor to prove it.
Prior to that, this was the dinnerware pattern in the house of Lowe for years.
I remember them well.

Chicken salad with a curry spiced dressing, grapes, almonds plus homemade croissaints, with chocolate filled croissaints for dessert.

That air-fried chicken looks incredible, LT!

Sass, you used fresh wings, shook them in dry Hidden Valley Ranch mix, and baked them? What temp and how long?

Turns out we got pizzas.
The bread sticks were free.
Ugh!
Don't know why I ate them.
I mean all that crust, then more carbs Lol
The ham and pineapple was good, the bacon wasn't the greatest.
Crumbled bacon.

Craig was over on our west coast Monday so he picked up some stone crab claws from our supplier. They were dinner last night with mustard sauce.

AeroGarden doohicky - a Christmas present.
it's automatic - so it's no attention demanding thing - however it is quite a bright light that is on 17 hours a day so one has to have a spot . . .

DanDiamond gave me one of these about 15 years ago........ served me well....
Alas , it's gone who knows where..... probably in the garage....

Last Night's Chicken in Gravy, over Grand's Southern Home Style

I surely miss the Warden's biscuits, and these almost fill that space...

I've wanted one of those for a while. Do your cats mess with it or try to eat the herbs?

My cats eat any flowers or herbs that are out. EXCEPT the pots of grass we buy for THEM!!

I kind of figured that. The last thing I need is to try to keep my little hellions from getting into something else. The hydroponic gardens are kind of pricey too. I just looked at them on Amazon, about $150.

Thanks for the input :).

My air fryer delivery got pushed back to Friday :(, so maybe wings for Saturday night.

they haven't bother it ... yet.

Harmony is pushing 21 so she's not a big jumper anymore, and Kittens is oddly uninterested in anything but canned food. not tuna, salmon, chicken . . . strange puddy tat.

Just FYI, either thyme or rosemary is toxic to kitties according to the vet. I don't remember which, but our Mindy started bringing her food back up enough so that a vet visit was in order. She couldn't find anything wrong with her and the only thing Mindy had been doing differently was spending a lot of time out on our screened porch because it was cool. One of her favorite places to lay was in the pots where I was growing herbs. I put whichever one that was toxic up higher where she couldn't get to it and the issue stopped.

Dinner tonight was tasso pasta, homemade tasso ham, onion, carrot, garlic, yellow and green squash, plus chicken broth and cream, with some Parm stirred in right before serving.

We had chicken soup. Didn't like the feel of the chicken. It was like eating cut up butchers twine. The wife made a huge pot of soup, and used two breasts with skin and bone in.
She grabbed the wrong pack of chicken out of the freezer: even though we have hundreds of sharpie pen markers in 4 colors, but no one but I, uses them on the packaging before freezing.
I like soup made with thighs...( skinless and boneless ). It isn't as dry.
I usually blanch the meat in salted water, then cool and dice it in little cubes, and then into the pot of vegetables and seasonings to cook down 1/3.

Later on, I had a can of sardines in olive oil. Ice cream for dessert.
