i made this today. very strong lime flavor(which i wanted)..presently i have some chicken legs marinating in it.
1/2 cup smoke habs - minced - seeds and veins removed
2/3 cup mango puree
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1/4 cup tequila(had no rum)
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 tablespoon salt
cook over medium heat until sauce thickens a little and flavors combine.i puree the mixture with an immersion mixer. this is a thin sauce compared to what i usually make. think commercially made hot sauce thickness..lol
