Today is Fathers Day...( Happy Fathers Day to the Fathers out there ) and we will be doing the beef tenderloin steaks on the grill.
There was mention of baked potatoes, but I don't see that happening.
If it were me, I would do fries or tater tots.

I just brought up ( Jimmy's way of needles in the rump ) the potatoes with DD and Tina. Tina asked DD to go up to the Ukrainian church at 12:00. They sell pierogi that the women of the church make fresh. I could see the pi$$y moods developing. It will be an issue soon.
DD just made a pan of those rice krispy treats. I love them.

So stay tuned, for the final outcome of the potato / pierogi / macaroni salad / etc.
Or just watch ME grab a hunk of bread to eat with the steak......!

Fairway Prime cut boneless sirloin steak cooked Buzzy's way reverse seared. Put in oven on Convection bake 275F for approx. 20 minutes till internal temp was 100F. Then seared on a smoking hot cast iron stovetop grill pan till internal temp was 117F (lighting isn't very good but that was a perfect medium). Had a salad an hour before dinner. Dinner sides were whipped yukon gold potatoes and cold fresh string bean salad.

Everyone's bellies are full, and DD came through by cooking pasta, and adding oil and grated parm to one bowl. Sour cream to one, and plain butter to the other.
I grilled the steaks, and they were outstanding. ShopRite of Netcong did a great job.
DD also made the cake and rice crispy treats.

If it wasn't for DD, I couldn't produce a great meal alone.
Mommy is a good cook, but she just had surgery, and she's not able to do too many tasks without pain.

I'm sure you enjoyed your Dads Day too.

Tonight the Son and DIL are stopping here after work.
Tina mommy is going to make a meat sauce, and we will have spaghetti.
I'm not too fond of meat sauce, but As long as I can scrape a couple tablespoons of sauce without the meat, I'll be happy!

Omg, the steaks you guys.

I'm doing crockpot chicken drumsticks again.
This time in a maple/mustard sauce.
I'll remove the skin this time.
Mash and chicken gravy too.

Homemade special fried rice - shrimp, pork loin, chicken, red bell, baby corn, red onion, garlic, ginger, shootakis, grated carrot, bean sprouts, egg, green onions, with the sauce made of hoisin, tamari, sriracha, sugar, sesame oil. It's the only fried rice I'll eat.

I'm glad I took the skin off.
It left not a lot of liquid in the pot.
I used a little of it along with a bit of milk and cream of chicken soup to make the gravy for mash.
Green bean salad again.

DD has chicken breasts thawed, and plans to grill them. I am not a chicken eater, unless it's done crispy and crunchy.
Sick of spaghetti.....we had it yesterday with MEAT sauce. Growing up in an Italian household, we never had meat sauce ( burger meat ground ) .
Meat sauce would be chunks of beef and pork and meatballs or sausage.
That's a MEAT sauce. That is my opinion, and wgat meat sauce was!
