Need replacement platter for microwave!

The spinning glass platter for our microwave broke! It's a cheap GE microwave. Does anyone know where I can pick up a platter on the cheap? I'd rather not have to buy another microwave.

I have an extra one, but probably would not be cheap to send it to you! My microwave died, and before I junked it, I saved the glass platter. And it fits the new one perfectly, even though they aren't the same brand. So now I have an extra (I do have a tendency to break things).

Have you tried the GE website?

They are [ame="http://www.amazon.com/GE-WB39X10003-Cooking-Tray-Microwave/dp/B004H3XR7E/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1314329080&sr=8-2"]available on Amazon[/ame], Allen. But a little spendy ($35.20). You can almost buy a new microwave for that - LOL.

We have a place here in Atlanta called Fox Appliance that sells any and every kind of appliance part you could possibly want. Maybe they have an appliance store like it there. If not, maybe you could check the thrift stores.

If you just need a turntable & don't need to replace the actual platter, I had a product similar to this micro-go-round years ago:

The thrift stores had lots of them. You might try ebay, as well.
