Shermie Well-known member Site Supporter Nov 15, 2018 #9 I don't cook a whole turkey any more. But I DO cook it in parts - like the legs, thighs. wings or breast. I THIS case, whatever parts that I plan to cook, I defrost them in cold water while they are still vacuum sealed & go from there.
