Craig and I were just talking about the China "honey" last night after we saw something on 1 of the TV cooking shows about making sure your honey had nothing but honey in it. I had to remind him about the China "honey" scandal a while back.

I only use Trader Joe honey lately. I like the mesquite the best but the Turkish is also good.

Last honey I bought was from an Amish market in Shipshewana, Indiana.
One of my former patients 3 years ago used to be a fairly well-known beekeeper.
Moletus Osting.
His daughter used to bring us trays of the comb.
Best thing ever.
Real honey.

we're fortunate to have multiple local bee keepers - not much doubt about where it's coming from!

I forgot to add. Craig has been getting honey for us at a place that makes beeswax candles that he passes by every so often on his work travels. The honey was a byproduct and they sold it really cheap. Unfortunately, they realized they were selling it too cheaply. Don't get me wrong, it's still cheaper than the grocery, but way more expensive than it used to be.
