If all goes as planned dinner will be cheese (American or Muenster) burgers with homemade full sour pickle.

If I don't go out to eat with my son and Granddaughter, I'll be making boneless chicken breast with Swiss and peppers, corn and salads with poppy seed dressing.

That looks great Peeps!
I'm waiting on DIL to get home, then I'll make dinner. It's not going to take me long to put it together.

have a bash time . . .

checked out Volt - http://www.voltrestaurant.com - in Frederick, MD.
by Bryan Voltaggio: a finalist on Top Chef Season 6 and Top Chef Masters Season 5, Voltaggio is the first chef to compete on both Top Chef and Top Chef Masters.

delightful! he offers a four course or ten course - went with the four course of:
FOIE GRAS granola, strawberry, basil
octopus - absolute superb!
Maryland rockfish
and a chocolate desert.

the menu varies by day and season - if you're in the area it's well worth the stop. (a smidge on the expensive side . . .)

That dessert looks like an art project.
I like small plate dining, but always leave feeling hungry ( and broke) Lol

these were small plates - but we were quite satisfied after four plus little other goodies (breads, etc)

I was encouraged to go for the ten course with the 'aw it's only like 2-3 ounces each' to which I said 'uhuh - times ten is a pound and a half of food....'

in case one was still hungry:

and then a little doggy bag (g):

Excellent photos, C-Man!

How did you get the first four in a square like that?

I think you upload the photos then when you add them to the post put two next to each other then hit return/enter and put the next two next to each other. But I’m not positive. I will test it out.

I like Irfanview for basic photo handling. crop/resize/reduce file size/flip/rotate/etc. many many options - and it's a freebie!

one capability 'create panorama image' - you can stack pix side to side or top to bottom. .. so I created one image of the top L and R together, another image of the bottom L and R together, then stacked those two top to bottom to get four, then reduced the size to 3200 pix wide....

edited to add: 'adding' them together with Irfanview creates a new pix; uploaded as a single image

That can only be done from a pc, correct?
I rarely use my lap top now that I got the phone.
Off the subject but last night my son Jeff sent me a video he made of himself embedded in a graphic short video.
It was him in a strangely wonderful world of walking down the streets of Paris a la the video Take On Me by Aha.
The wonders of technology and an iPhone X.

Change of dinner plans here.
We're getting broasted chicken, jojos and coleslaw from the place across town.
Fine with me!

My umm broken wing, thigh, jojos and slaw.
It's good but I've had better.
Note I am using some of my old plate collection lately?

I make a "Sausage Cacciatore"

I only have the green peppers; and so I cook them separate.
Momma doesn't like green peppers.

Rather than have her digging them out of the frypan / serving platter.
Most meals are served "Cowboy Style" these days; so I figured make it easy for her for a change.

Ohhhhhh, Jimmy, I keep talking about making either sausage or chicken cacciatore, since I love both.

Haven't gotten to it yet. But you have inspired me!

These vary from Pizza Shop to Pizza Shop, and can be a fold-over, Turn-over, and I'v seen them served as a Roll-up.... this style is the Fold-over....

They can be filled with Steak, Mushrooms, Chicken, Vegetables, and of course they all can have Pizza Sauce.

I've got battered fish or burgers or ham to choose to prepare for dinner, lots of sides so I'll throw something together when the time comes.
