Banana Crisp

Good morning, everyone....Ian just left for the resort so now I can finally use the computer to post my couple of little dessert recipes for my contribution for the day. Yay!

This one is real easy and is very tasty.

4 medium bananas
1/2 stick butter, melted, divided
1 tbls. lemon juice
1/4 cup quick-cooking oats
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
Vanilla ice cream
Cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Peel and slice the bananas and divide the slices evenly among 4 ungreased 6 oz. ramekins. Combine 2 tbls. melted butter and the lemon juice in a small bowl and mix well. Drizzle the butter mixture over the bananas in each ramekin. Combine the oats, walnuts, brown sugar and the remaining melted butter in a small bowl and mix well. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the bananas. Bake until the bananas are hot and the topping is bubbly, 10 to 12 minutes. Serve warm with the ice cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. These are so neat! :bounce:
