Front left is string beans, middle is chives that are flowering right now, right is yellow onions. Behind the beans are two heirloom tomato plants and behind those are two rows of snow peas and then two rows of snap peas that are about half the height of the snow peas.

Behind the onions on the right is a row of carrots, and lots of salad greens - Swiss chard, arugula, green and red leaf lettuces and the bok choy is blooming, darn it. Behind all that is another row of onions and then the second square in the back right is four heirloom tomato plants. There are more onions around the perimeter and garlic along the inside rows. And we plant marigolds in the four inside and outside corners.

The peas will come out in the next week or so and will be replaced with bell and hot peppers. We're also going to try keeping a mesclun mix in a low, round planter all summer by planting a set of seeds each week. Looking forward to summer's bounty!
