Being raised in Miami I have eaten many Cuban food's. Here is one of my favorite meals.

Palomilla steak-Spanish steak

2 Minute stake 2 garlic clove lime juice from one lime 1 Tlb olive oil salt & pepper to taste
minced onion and parsley

For the palomilla steak, take minute steaks and rub them with mashed garlic poun them super thin. Then you squeeze lime juice all over them and a little bit of olive oil and seasoning. You then let them marinade in that mixture in a Ziploc bag until time to cook. To cook them you do a quick searing in a hot pan and they cook very quickly. You top them with the minced onion and parsley.
serve with black beans & rice. And Yucca.

Yucca is a potato and very starchy. You can buy Yucca frozen or some places fresh. Small one's are best. The fresh one's have been dipped in wax to preserve them, look for dark spots and feel them to see if the dark spot is soft if it is it's a bad spot.

Yucca
2lb Yucca
5 or 6 clove [or more]of Garlic chopped
1tabl parsley
¼ cup olive oil

Peel Yucca, cut into 3inch chunks. Boil in water for about 15 or 20 min. Let cool, cut lengthwise and take out center woody stem. Cut into finger size sticks. Heat oil in beep frying pan; add garlic, Parsley, and yucca. Cook till garlic is brown and Yucca is soft.
