Green Pepper Soup (Like Stuffed Green Peppers)

2 lbs ground beef
3 1/2 c tomato sauce
3 1/2 c diced tomatoes in juice
2 c cooked rice
2 c chopped green pepper
2 beef bouillion cubes
1/4 c brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste

Simply brown the beef and drain it.
Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil.
Reduce and simmer til peppers are tender.

Well ya know Buzz, if it's easy, it's what I'll post.
I HATE spending time in the kitchen, and am obviously not a master cook, but- I do know good and simple when I see it.

Hey! I love stuffed peppers but I've never eaten one with crackers so I figure what the hell. I'm going to cut the recipe by about half and try it out. It might need a little hot sauce though, but that's just me. lol

When I've made it, I freeze it for warm winter evening pleasures for the tum tum.
Crackers? Nay Lad!
Tear up hunks of vienna bread and dip, dip, dip away I say!

The pot was clean, our team won, everyone was happy.lol

I can understand how the pot was clean if you made it for the entire Super Bowl. :yum:

That really sounds good Lollie. I like green peppers in soup but I don't like stuffed peppers.......go figure. I just may try this. Yum!
