Bacon wrapped appetizers

super quick, super easy..

10 slices bacon slice in 2
20 dates
20 water chestnuts, sliced

Cut the bacon into smaller slices
Wrap the bacon around one date and one water chestnut slice
thread onto a tooth pick and place on a baking sheet
bake for 10 - 15 minutes at 350 or until bacon is cooked and slighly crisped.

can also be done on the smoker for about 2 hours or on the grill.

These are wonderful, Jeff. And almost completely foolproof! I like to sprinkle them with soy sauce just before grilling.

My mother used to make them. Great taste.
