What have you eaten NCT - Sunday 4/15/18 to Saturday 4/21/18?

I worked yesterday - the mrs was home and made this paleo chicken recipe that was just excellent. She used her home dried roma tomatoes in the sauce. The next time we will have garlic mashed potatoes on there side. I'd like to try it with chicken halves next time. The side was zucchini and onions sautéed in ghee.

Tonight's dinner, no idea.
I'll go by someplace healthy close to the college and grab lunch on the way to work.

Med and Dogboa - very impressive molecular dessert! Was it difficult?

Sass, I liked the sounds of those bacon and cheese bratwurst patties! Were they good?

Peep, ever try putting the cranberry sauce in the turkey/stuffing sandwich? Add a little mayo and it's one of my all-time favorite sandwiches.

Qsis, no, just time consuming because of the different parts.

Our dinner last night was Italian sausages sammies with red bell peppers and onions sauteed then cooked in a bit of marinara sauce topped with moz on homemade hot dog/sub buns from the freezer.

I’ve tried that and it makes the sandwich to sloppy. Plus I don’t like the taste of mayo on my Cranberry sauce. DD # 1 and hub like that but DD #2 and I don’t.

We like sausage, peppers and onions with tomato sauce also. I usually just have it in a bowl and dip Italian bread in the sauce.

that reminds me . . . tried the Campbell's 'sauce in a pouch' thing the other day - Sweet&Sour chicken. not stellar but tasty for a quick meal.

ultra-simple: brown the chicken chunks, add sauce, heat through; serve over rice/pasta.

the sauce is 'fully prepared' - mild on the sour part.

The General did not agree with me.
Pretty sure I've got a case of food poisoning.
So far no one else feels the same as I.
Gatorade, water and rest for me today.

I can't remember the last time we had chicken and biscuits.

Yesterday I made Manhattan Clam Chowder using the New York Times recipes found on the net. I had a piece of Alaska true cod and put that in, as well, which didn't make nancy happy. It tasted to fishy for her but ate it and said it was ok. I loved it and had four bowls.

I hope you feel better soon.

Could you have unknowingly eaten any romaine lettuce?

Still no clue what's for dinner.
Son has been in the basement almost all day trying to figure out why we have no water pressure, DIL mowed the property all by herself.
I've been wrangling the squirts and keeping them occupied.
We'll eat sooner or later.
Hopefully sooner, feeling my appetite return lol

In a flash.
Quick and easy.
I used Velveeta.
Just put it in oven.
