Lovely Bolognese, Jimmy!

I made a pizza for the first time in a long time. I'm rusty, but inspired to make another soon.

Not sure why the toppings came out so dark. It was pretty good!

Nice Ah Beetze..... The over browning sometimes happens with my pizza.
Yours is not That brown.
I watch the pizza after the first 12 minutes, and sometimes just throw a sheet of non stick foil over the top loosley. Just drop on top.

I dropped my pizza temp to 375 instead of 400.
I must have made a thousand pizza's in my life, and not ONE pizza is identical to the previous ones made. No two pizzas match.
Pizza ..... Is just like People! .... there is no two the same. Generally; unless there are exact twins. But even then, there is a difference somewhere!

I had a toasted blueberry bagel with cream cheese for breakfast.
Lunch, I'll pick something up after my job interview.
Dinner may be bbq meatballs - not sure about the sides yet.

For a Friday.... Shame Shame for supper.
A bowl of Chinese microwave noodles, and a diet 8 inch eclair filled with custard. and thick chocolate coated glaze.

Just didn't feel like cooking today; plus tummy was hurting.

Your trim because of your metabolism, and you're a youngster. Yet.

I'm fit and trim...... after the baby toe, then on upward, is just like my Humpty Dumpty Avatar ..... and looking down, I can't even SEE my little toe.

Breakfast was chorizo, egg and potato with whole wheat flat bread.

The plan at Noon was to try for Shrimp Scampi (never done before) but after looking at various recipes, realized I was under-stocked on a couple of ingredients... maybe next week...


This ole' Country Boy doesn't keep Vermouth in-house.....

This is my lunch.
It's deli chicken salad seasoned with black pepper and dill, and blueberries from the freezer.
I've used saltines since I've had flat bread for brekkie and will be using sesame seed buns for the burgers for dinner.

tonight was broiled shrimp-on-a-stick, cornmeal crusted pan fried okra and arborio rice done in chicken stock....

We’ve been having thunderstorms since the middle of last night. Now I keep getting flash flooding warnings all day. So I made chicken soup. Served over brown rice. I had some turkey meatballs left from the other nights dinner so I put a few in my bowl. YUM! Mom would sometimes put tiny meatballs in her chicken soup and split pea soup.

No pictures because I was worried about loosing power.

Had a package of dinner rolls in the freezer that didn't fit anymore, so I made up a platter of sliders with stuff I had on hand.

BLT's, Chicken Patty Parm, and Cubans.

Perfect Saturday night dinner for a friend and me, while watching stand-up comedy on TV.

Geez, Lucky, you got a great char on that steak, even using a marinade!

I stopped marinating steaks a few years ago because I was getting a better char with a dry steak and dry seasonings.

Did you grill yours?
