is it me or is is ForgetroRex....?
tellicherry peppercorns are frequently mentioned as an upgrade to McCormick's Mark I Mod 0 black peppercorns. bumbled into a jar at Wegmans.
we use fresh ground pepper - exclusively. the grinder was about empty - tossed the last few black peppercorns and refilled with tellicherry and kept my big mouth shut.
I've used it on chicken, stir fry, beef, pork, salmon, flounder, shrimp grill, seared sea scallops, scrambled eggs, soft boiled egg, etc.
DW has not peeped about the pepper . . . like nearly a month now . . .
it does have a different aroma - even unground - but methinks that may get lost in the cooking cycle. anyone found anything exciting about tellicherry peppercorns?
