Fried Ravioli

The first time I had these was about 5 years ago when I visited my brother in St. Louis. They're really good!

- 1 bag frozen meat or cheese ravioli, thawed
- 1 cup italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, for egg wash
- oil for frying/deep fat fryer

1. Heat oil for frying.

2. In small bowl, combine breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese.

3. In separate bowl prepare egg wash. Dip ravioli in egg wash one at a time and then into breadcrumb mixture. Shake off excess bread crumbs and place in oil to fry.

4. Fry until golden brown and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with some parmesan cheese while hot and serve with marinara sauce for dipping.

I've done these before and they are always a big hit. I serve them with some warm marinara sauce for dipping.

DH just started drooling. He's been trying to figure out his own deep fry idea since The State Fair came out with their new stuff, lol
